The LHSO Boosters will providing hamburgers from Columbia Steakhouse and bottled water for everyone. If possible, please sign up for a dessert or a side dish.  Please note that we do have students with nut allergies, so plan accordingly and label your dish.
Feel free to bring folding chairs, corn hole, frisbees or any other games! If you would like a vegetarian or vegan option, please make a note in the following survey.

Come join us for an evening of fun and fellowship.

Re-Audition Policy: Students wishing to re-audition must contact the directors in writing by May 5. If you feel that your audition doesn't accurately represent your potential, please submit a request to re-audition. Audition music will be provided to the students who request a re-audition before the end of the semester. Recordings must be submitted prior to June 15. for consideration.

New students in the LHSO will experience an intense and exciting week of immersion in string playing and musicianship. The concentrated musical instruction is tempered with supervised recreational activities in an atmosphere conducive to total learning, fun, and individual growth.

Thank you for all your hard work in preparing each scale and excerpt. All placements were ranked by blind audition and assigned regarding the instrumental requirements for each level. If you feel that you were incorrectly placed, please contact Mr. Phil Kent at [email protected] to schedule a re-audition. 

Students are listed by placements (level 1-3). Seating auditions will take place in the first week weeks of school in August.

Remember, we are only scheduling auditions for Level 2-4. Mr. Kent will be visiting each middle school to listen to Level 1 auditions. 
Please sign in at the desk outside the orchestra room and proceed to the warm up area located in the orchestra room. Parents are encouraged to wait in the hall while their child warms up and auditions. Results will be posted May 1st.
